CLUG Talk on THURSDAY: OpenStreetMap

Date: 14 January 2016
Topic: OpenStreetMap
Speaker: Gerhardus Geldenhuis
Time: 6:30 pm
Venue: UCT Chemical Engineering Studio 1, below ground floor

Wishing you all the best for 2016. Gerhardus Geldenhuis is in town and
kindly offered to give a talk. His schedule is tight so it’s not on
the usual Tuesday — please take note of the date. He will be talking
about OpenStreetMap, but is clued up on Puppet and Razor as well.

Directions to the venue can be found here.

Afterwards there’s dinner to discuss the talk. We decide about the
venue after the talk, but usually it ends up being Some Oaks Bistro
close by:

92 Campground Road, Rondebosch, near the corner of Rouwkoop Avenue and
Campground Road. There is ample parking opposite the road in Oakhurst
avenue.

Every Tuesday some CLUG folks go to dinner to talk code, beer,
CLUG ideas and other stuff. But mostly code and beer. If you’re keen
to know more, please join the specially created clug-dinners mailing
list. Mails are only once a week, so traffic is light.
